Handmade Byzantine icon of the Virgin Mary Hodegetria, copy of the icon of Panselinos. Painted on natural wood with natural powder colors and egg tempera. The gold is triple-thick polished 23.75 carats, with a hand-hammered tsoukaniko design. The icon is mounted in a wooden frame.
